85 years young, Lew Hollander is the oldest competitor in the world still competing in Ironman Triathlons. Lew is a thirty year veteran, beginning in 1985 and racing over 50 full Ironman’s throughout the world.
Iron Lew is the oldest person in the world at 82 yrs young to complete a full Ironman being honored by the Guinness Book of World Records. He will be competing at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii October 10th, 2015. He has opened a whole new age group of 85-89. This will be Lew’s 25th time to Kona and a two time World Champion.
